The Day After : Maria ♥ Mike

This post shows the pictures of my first "The Day After" photo shoot, and I can confess that I first thought it wasn't going to happen... Because a couple like Maria and Mike who enjoyed the wedding like they did, we always think that the couple won't want to wake up early... put on the dress... and the suit... to go to the beach under Buzios sun... but I was wrong. And everything was perfect!
This kind of session lasts much less than an e-session. In this photo shoot Fran Sartor photographed with me, what made the material yield more pictures, more angles in less time.
And this was the day after of this couple, who right after the pictures, started to pack up to go back to NY...

Ah, the flower crows (the ones that Maria wore) were hand made by us... We left the wedding full of flowers and wires, so early in the morning we made them so she could wear them during the session. So, did you guys like it?

What about if you talk to your photographer to do THE DAY AFTER session? i think it works really well for destination weddings, where the photographer is hosted near the couple. ;)

Este post vem com as fotos do meu primeiro "The Day After" ( O dia depois) e posso confessar que eu achei que nem iria rolar....

Porque um casal como a Maria e o Mike que curtiram o casamento como eles curtiram, a gente sempre acha que o casal não vai querer ou não vai conseguir acordar cedo...colocar o vestido...o terno...pra ir pra praia no sol de Buzios, mas eu estava enganado. E tudo deu certo!

É claro que o ensaio dura bem menos tempo que uma e-session. E neste ensaio a Fran Sartor fotografou junto comigo, o que faz o material render mais fotos, mais angulos e em menos tempo.

E assim foi o dia depois deste casal que logo depois das fotos...começou a fazer as malas e já voltaram correndo pra NY....

ah, as coroas de flores ( usadas pela Maria) foram feitas pela gente, que saiu do casamento cheio de flores e arame e logo de manhã, já aprontamos para serem usadas no look do ensaio. E aí curtiram?

Que tal conversar com o seu fotógrafo e fazer o "The Day After"? Acho que funciona muito bem pra destination wedding, onde o fotógrafo já fica hospedado pertinho do casal. Segue a dica!

The Party Rocked!!!

I was really anxious to post the pictures of Maria and Mike's wedding party, which was incredible! What a fun crowd, my gosh!!! Because of this, the post is going to be long. The couple brought disposable wedding cameras from NY, and the guests registered a bit of the wedding, the cameras were in a white cover and the word LOVE was written on it!:)
The couple enjoyed the party a lot. A very traditional moment in american weddings, is when everybody sits to listen to the family's vows. It's a moment in which people get to know and thrill with stories told by the parents, siblings, friends, etc... and it was really thrilling!

In the end of the party the couple who cheers for Flamengo (a brazilian soccer team) gave flamengo t-shirts, and the dance floor turned into red and black! And so... we enjoyed with them up to the end... the groom kept saying: "OH my Gosh, you are still here! You did a great job! You guys are amazing!" and after 16 hours of work we got back to the lodgings to rest a little bit because the day after...

Estava louco pra postar as fotos da festa da Maria e do Mike que foi incrível! Que galera animada! Por conta disso, o post teve que ser longo. O casal trouxe cameras descartáveis de New York, e os convidaram registraram um pouquinho do casamentos com as cameras que levavam uma capa branca com um coração com a palavra LOVE! :)
O casal aproveitou e muito a festa de casamento, passando pelo momento onde os convidados sentam para ouvir os votos...
uma tradição americana também.

É um momento de conhecer e se emocionar com as historias contadas pelos pais, irmãos, amigos...etc... e foi emocionante!

Pra terminar o casal flamenguista distribuiu camisetas do flamengo e a pista ficou nas cores Vermelha e preta! E assim...a gente foi curtindo até o finalzinho... e o noivo só falava assim: "Caramba, vocês ainda estão aqui? Vocês ja fizeram um ótimo trabalho!!! " e depois de 16 horas de trabalho a gente foi pra pousada descansar um pouquinho...porque no dia seguinte...
